Expressions I used a pencil to draw these pictures as well as a mirror to see my face to draw it with different facial expressions. This took me around 5-10 minutes to finish. Over all i'm not that happy with how it came out and if I was to do it again I would take my time with it and make sure to make more detailed. I used a pencil to draw these pictures. I looked at my hand while drawing these so I knew what it should look like. This took me around 15 minutes to draw. If I were to go back and redo this I would try to take my time with it and add more detail to it. For this I had to copy a picture with a grid over it. I had to draw whatever part of the picture was in the square and I had to use 2 pieces of A4 paper then I put them together to make a full picture. I drew this with a pencil and it took me around 1 hour to draw it. If I redid this I would try to make it more neater and detailed.
For this I had to get pictures of a peacock's head, crab claws, leopard legs, eagle feet, bat wings and a male torso and copy them to make a mythical creature. I drew this with using a pencil and colouring pencils. This took me around 1 hour to make. I'm happy with how this turned out and wouldn't change anything.
For this I had to take several pictures of different poses then trace it using tracing paper. I drew this using a pencil. This took me around 10 minutes to make this. There is nothing I would change about this. For this I had to draw people in different poses then turn them into silhouettes. I drew this using a pencil to draw the outline then filling it in with a black felt tip pen. This took me around 30 minutes to do. If I went back and did this again I would take my time with them and make them neater. For this I had to draw two embarrassed faces one male and one female in the manga/anime art style. I watched a video on how to draw them which helped me. I used a pencil to draw them and it took me around 30 minutes to do. I'm happy with how they turned out so I wouldn't change anything about them.
Isometric Perspective
For this I made sure all of the lines coming out of the F were at a 30 degree angle and made it look 3d using those lines. I used a pencil to draw this and it took me around 10 minutes to make. I'm happy with how this came out so I wouldn't change anything.
Single Point Perspective
For this I made all of the lines meet at one point then proceeded to make the M 3d using those lines. I drew this using a pencil and it took me 10-15 minutes to do. I'm happy with how it turned out so I wouldn't change anything about it.
Two Point Perspective
For this I drew lines leading to two points and used those lines to make the X 3d. I drew this using pencil and it took me around ten minutes to draw this. I'm happy with how this came out and wouldn't change anything.
I drew this using two point perspective. I made this picture drawing lines heading towards the two points. I used a pencil to draw this and it took me around 1 hour and 30 minutes to do. I'm happy with how this turned out so I wouldn't change anything about it.
Three Point Perspective
For this I drew lines to join up with the three points which acted as my guidelines for drawing this. I used a pencil to draw this and it took around ten minutes to do. I'm happy with how it came out and wouldn't change anything.
Crated Primitive Objects
Cone
For this I drew a cone shape inside a 3D cuboid made up of cubes and I used these cubes as guidlines. I used a pencil to draw this and it took me around 5 minutes to do. I'm happy with how it turned out so I wouldn't change anything.
Cylinder
For this I drew a cylinder using the cubes as guyidelines. I used a pencil to draw this and it took me around 5 minutes to do. I'm happy with how this turned out so I wouldn't change anything about it.
Pyramid
For this I drew a pyramid using the cubes as guidelines. I used a pencil to draw this and it took me around 5 minutes to do. I'm happy with how it turned out so I wouldn't change anything about it.
Sphere
For this I drew a sphere using the cubes as guidelines. I used a pencil to draw this and it took me around 5 minutes to do. If I redid this I would try to make it a lot neater.
Torus
For this I drew a torus using the cubes as guidelines. I used a pencil to draw this and it took me around 5 minutes to do. I'm happy with how it came out so I wouldn't change anything.
Mark-Making Techniques
For this I had to use different line drawing techniques like cross hatching and short dashes. I used a pencil for this and it took me around 15 minutes to do. I'm happy with how it turned out so I wouldn't change anything about it.
For these I went around college looking at different textures and drew them using pastels. It took me around an hour to do because I had to find them first. If I redid this I would try to make them neater.
Party Blower
For this I had to come up with 20 drawings from looking at a party blower. I drew this using a pencil and colouring pencils. It took me around 40 minutes because I had to come up with the ideas before I could draw them. If I redid this I would try and make them neater.
Colour Wheel
For this I had to make a colour wheel using red, blue and yellow felt tips. This took me around 15 minutes to do. I'm happy with how it turned out and wouldn't change anything about it.
Analogous Colour Scheme
For this I had to use 3 colours that could be made into each other if they are mixed and I had to colour the letters in while trying to keep the same colour form touching. I used red, yellow and orange felt tips to make this and it took me around 15 minutes because I was being careful not to go over the other areas. If I redid this I would change some of the colour locations because some of them are touching the same colour.
Complementary Colour Scheme
For this I had to colour in the letters using colours opposite each other on the colour wheel. I used yellow and purple felt tips and it took me around 15 minutes to do. I'm happy with how this turned out and wouldn't change anything about it.
Triadic Colour Scheme
For this I had to use the 3 colours that were in the same category on the colour wheel so I used the primary colours. I used red, yellow and blue felt tips and it took me around 15 minutes to do. I'm happy with how this turned out so I wouldn't change anything about it.
For this one I had to use 4 pieces of A3 paper and observe an environment and draw it in 4 parts using ink and paintbrushes then put the pieces together to make a full picture. This took me a couple of hours because my first attempt resulted in ink spilling all over my friend's work so I had no ink to continue and every time I went to attempt it the weather wasn't good enough to do it so I could get to my original location where I began drawing so I restarted it. Overall I am happy with it but if I went back and did it again I would be very careful with how it lines up with the other pictures.

HA4 Task1 - The Purpose of Concept Art
Concept art stages
Exploration
This stage is when the artists do rough sketches of their Ideas. Artists do this until they get their desired result which can take several tries in order to achieve their goal. Once they decide to stop doing rough sketches they begin refining and shading their favorite ones to narrow them down. They then choose one to be the final design and fully finish it and is then passed on to other members of the team like 3d modelers so they can make the 3d model to be used in the game.
Approval
Once a decision has been made between the concept artists they then have to seek approval from the publishers and partners. If they disapprove the concept artists will have to redo the design in order to get it to the publishers and partners standards.
Promotion
Once the art process is finished it is then used for promoting the game. The purpose of this is for getting it out and letting the public know the game is in development and to generate hype so people look forward to the game and make them more likely to buy the game.
